Brothers

We are frequently asked what Henry thinks of his new brother. I have seen various reactions: curiosity, indifference, amusement, concern and helpfulness. Oliver responds positively to his brothers voice. And Henry shows concern when Oliver is wailing. My favorite interaction between the two is when Oliver is in his vibrating chair. Henry has figured out how to grab the back of the chair and bounce it up and down, in order to help soothe his brother (a daunting task at times!). I think Henry feels good that he is helping Mama & Papa (he smiles at us, knowing that he is being a helper). It will be interesting to see what bond develops between the two boys.
