This past season was the first that I stored dahlia tubers over the winter. After they had gone dormant in the fall, I dug them up and kept them in the cellar. Now they are showing new growth, ready to be replanted when the danger of a late frost is past. My garden notes from last year remind me that I planted the tubers on May 9. I want to learn and experience more with these wonderful flowers. They have been a favorite for a while.
