My Summer vacation started off with digging a hole that would only be filled back in again...
The next big project on our Long To-Do List is putting in a better foundation for our laundry room. (The current foundation lets in cold air, water, and rodents.) We have hired someone to oversee the project, but I will be prepping the site and assisting with the workload. The damp clay smell of excavated soil brings back memories of watching my Dad use a tractor to dig in the earth. And now I have my very own mini-supervisor inspecting my progress.
