The Berries of August

Blackberries enlarge and ripen at this time of the year, enticing the culinary senses of your two young friends. I stopped on my walk home to pick some of the darkened jewels for my connoisseurs, who practically inhaled my gifts, only to ask for more. A later evening walk provided a better haul, but too much of a good thing can have drastic "consequences" of the digestive kind!
