Classic Specs

I am waaaaaaay overdue for a new pair of glasses. My current pair are scratched, ill-fitted, and bent in the frame. (They were bent with honor, though: I was demonstrating a flip on a trampoline (yes, that trampoline, Carley) for the boys which ended with me landing on top of my glasses. Memories are made of this.)
Progress is being made. I recently had an eye exam, and today my six frame candidates arrived from Classic Specs. I have seven days to try them out, come to a decision, and make the call. In addition, with more curiosity than all of Meerkat Manor, your two young friends also felt the need to assist with modeling the candidates this evening.
What follows are some of our findings:
(All photos taken with Photo Booth)
The six frames arrive.

Choice #1: "The Irving"
Professor-like, with a hint of Quil-billy.

Ah, and "The Irving" as applied to this rather exuberant individual.

The Irving can make one look studious....
.

...Or haphazard!  (reminds me of Ralphie from A Christmas Story)

Most likely not approved by the missus!

How about "The Duke"?

Nerd-gamer like, with another touch of Quil-billy!

Take me to your leader...

This is the look that won Lisa over.

Clearly not a serious evening at hand.

Bartender, I'll have whatever he's having...

I love this boy.
