Too Early

Henry awoke at 5:30 and promptly played with a wooden toy, tapping it loudly on the floor. Since I could not go back to sleep, I took him for an early Saturday walk down along the marina. I mentally wrote an adoption ad for him if this happens again...

By the way, for those of you who ever wondered how boats are transported from the water to what is referred to as dry dock (where boats are put up on stands for repair and maintenance), here is a photo of the transport mechanism. This giant sling lifts boats out of the water and drives them on land. It is really fascinating to watch, and I hope that Henry can see the process one day. (Think about how much better you will sleep tonight now that you know this!)
