Hellebores are one of the earliest flowering plants in the new year. They are also known by the name Christmas Rose. I found these growing in a garden that I tend part-time, and brought them home to someone that I love.
Oh man, I love my one Hellebore, I bought it our first spring after we moved into the house and I love seeing it get bigger each year. I was hoping that the blooms were more purply than cream, but I'll take what I can get. I'll just have to plant more I guess. Do you know if the acidity of the soil effects the color like hydrangea?
