Last night I attended a presentation at the local grange on the topic of raising seedlings. It was put on by the farmers of Midori Farm, a nice operation which sells seedlings and produce. Sitting in the darkened room with a screen aglow with information and inspiration was quite nice. I learned a few new facts and tips that will prove useful for the upcoming growing season.
There is something so satisfying about putting a seed in soil and assisting its transformation into a beautiful and useful plant. Though I have started seedlings before, I always feel like I am a beginner with new information to glean. I am fascinated by the process and want to become better at it. (Did I mention that I like this topic?)
