Today was my first day of planting seeds for this upcoming growing season. Sweet peas straight into the ground; leeks, tomatoes, and painted daisy into flats inside; and arugula, lettuce, and radishes into the cold frame. And so it begins!

| This is a variety called Kwiek lettuce. After being seeded in the Fall, it has over-wintered and put on new growth, ready to go into salads and sandwiches. |
