When Things Get Quiet...

It is still true that we must beware when things suddenly become quiet in the house.

  2. Oh man! What is it with the fascination with butter! The other day Nils grabbed an entire cube from the refrigerator, unwrapped it, and was sucking on in in the living room. Blach!

  3. I remember being tethered to a serious phone call (back when phones still had cords) and watching helplessly while Luke a young gangster of about 18 months investigated the kitchen cupboards. He finally settled upon upending an entire 3 lb bag of sugar.... This was in California where sugar ants reign supreme. Yikes! You can imagine my panic and exasperated, albeit silent hand gestures as I tried to minister to the poor person on the other end of the phone line while casting threatening looks at my wayward son!
