I remember liking that part of the intro to ABC Wide World of Sports where the unfortunate ski jumper clips his ski tip on the edge of the jump and spirals out of control into everything in sight. Tis the same way for me with gardening: Some victories and some defeats. My victories so far include signs of a good year for flowers, strawberries, and peas. My defeat came as a result of only starting a few tomatoes (had too many seedlings last year), and then leaving all of them in the cold frame, only to forget to open the top when the weather turned sunny... Fried green tomatoes have a new meaning. Guess I will have to buy seedlings started by someone else now...
Victory!
Victory!
Victory!
Defeat!
I'm having a similar experience with tomato's...only mine are withering because I think I put them out in the open too early and now the tops of the bush varieties are starting to die back...so frustrating.
