Henry is learning and using more words. He is discovering the beauty and utility of communication. Having said that, it also stands that he will need to learn the proper place and time for certain words. When Lisa treated me to lunch yesterday at a Certain Pizzeria, the server was enthralled with Henry and his friendly ways. She was attempting to engage with him in conversation. She asked how he was liking his pizza. Was it good? Yummy? We felt confident that he would respond with the word good, the very word he uses so often at a meal. Instead, Henry replied with an earnest smile that his pizza was Yoggy and Dooty (yucky and dirty). Nice, son. Really nice. Way to make your Old Man turn Beet Red!
